HFTNs - NEW SPEAKER and Interconnect HFTNs - In-Cable or In Parallel for DIY fitting

A new Parallel HFTN for use with speaker cables, now available from DNM.

The DNM RF termination system, named "High Frequency Termination Network" (HFTN), is a precision circuit that controls the radio frequency (RF) load presented by the cable to the amplifier. The HFTN terminates the cable at the radio frequencies that are generated by the amplifier's feedback system.
Audio frequency signals are not directly modified by the HFTN but the amplifier/cable RF interface is so greatly improved that the amplifier's feedback accuracy is enhanced. This gives a substantial increase in audio clarity.

The BRAND NEW DNM speaker cable HFTN is a parallel design for use with DNM Stereo Solid Core Speaker cable and DNM Stereo Solid Core Precision speaker cable. However in most circumstances, the DNM HFTN will also improve the performance of other brands of speaker cable.

The photograph at the top of this document shows how the speaker cable HFTN is supplied by DNM Design. It is fitted with a short length of cable (as part of its assembly) with pre-stripped conductors.

Your Speaker HFTNs can optionally be terminated with speaker plugs (from the DNM online shop) to suit your application. Just order the extra plugs you need here, there is no charge for DNM to fit these plugs to your speaker HFTNs.

The In-Cable High Frequency Termination Network (HFTN) is now available for DIY soldering into DNM cables near the plugs.

The In-Cable HFTNs can be ordered with DNM cable - or separately - in the DNM online shop.
To do this you only need to add to your order the number of In-Cable HFTNs (4 for each stereo cable).

Each In-Cable HFTN is just 48mm long by 13mm wide and only two wires need to be soldered on at each end of the In-Cable HFTN.

Existing DNM cables can also be upgraded by adding In-Cable HFTNs - just order the number of In-Cable HFTN's needed (4 for each stereo cable).
